Short description of the project:
Commissioned by MLSW (Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare), in the frame of two public tenders, APPK has been selected to train 2 x 120 job-seekers in the field of IT through ECDL system.
Candidates are listed through REO (Regional Employment Offices), and then selected through a test organized by APPK.
The training was organized in 7 licensed centres of ECDL (Pristina, Mitrovice, Peje, Gjakove, Prizren, Ferizaj and Gjilan).
The training was conducted for 7 relevant modules (M1 Basics of information and communication technology, M2 Windows XP, M3 Word 2003, M4 Excel 2003, M5 Access 2003, M6 PowerPoint 2003, M7 Internet Explorer 6/Outlook 2003).
The relevant exam is held at the end of each training. Based on the final results, it turns out that over 80% of the candidates have completed four or more modules.
At the end of the training, APPK, with no cost from the project, held an additional training “Successful competition” in order to increase competitive values of the candidates for the labor market.
