Short description of the project:

Under the funding of the EU (European Union), through the organization HIT Foundation (Netherlands) and Micado Migration (Germany), APPK has implemented the project “Monitoring of returned Minors”, which project is dedicated to 60 minors (12-18 years old) returned from EU countries to Kosovo, and 30 others returned to Albania.

In Kosovo, the project is implemented in coordination with the Department for Repatriation within the MIA, and in Albania, in cooperation with the Municipality of Shkodra.

“The monitoring process is conducted through a field research using standardized questionnaires, which are validate by the University of Groningen in Netherlands and by taking in consideration the best Interest of the Child”

A financial support of up to 300 Euros is given to 20 children, to meet their identified needs, mainly for education.

The results of the research are presented in an international conference organized in Brussels in the European Parliament.
